Stop getting across the line
If your club points across the line at the top, imagine carrying a tray of drinks. One simple feel keeps the club behind your hands.DP

A swing that gets too much across the line at the top is a tough one. It needs overcompensation. You have to reroute the club on the way down, which is the last thing you want. Here is a feel that sorts it out.
Imagine you are holding a tray of drinks. The moment you get across the line, you are basically tipping that tray over and spilling everything. So as you take the club back, keep the tray level and the drinks safe. You will feel the club get far more laid off, sitting nicely behind your hands instead of across the line.
This fault usually comes with a trail elbow that flies out a little, so keep that elbow close to you as you hold the tray. Do that, and you will stop getting across the line.
Good luck practicing.
