Stop swinging over the top

Slicing it into the next fairway? Line up three balls and groove an in-to-out path that turns that slice into a tidy little draw.

An over-the-top swing is one of the most common faults I see, and it is the one that sends the ball off with a slice or a big fade. Here is an easy way to retrain your path using just three balls.
Place the three balls diagonally and make it your goal to hit the middle one without touching the other two. If you come over the top, there is a good chance you clip the outside or the inside ball, so the drill forces you to deliver the club from the inside. Take a normal setup, make your backswing and follow through, and strike the middle ball clean. Get it right and you will catch it flush, miss the outside balls, and turn that slice into a lovely little draw. Good luck practicing.

Film your next swing and see what a tour pro would change.
