Speed is the name of the game right now. The best ball strikers in the world are hitting it miles. They would love it to be straight too, of course, but speed comes first. Here is an easy way to find some.
Flip the club over and hold it down on the shaft. Take your setup and make some swings, listening for the swoosh. You want to hear that swoosh at the ball, or just past it.
If you hear it early, back behind the ball, your top speed is peaking too soon. Too late is no good either, because you have already passed the ball. So take your setup, listen for where the swoosh lands, then grip the club normally and try to recreate that same feeling. It is one of the easiest ways to add speed on your own.
